Moving on you should keep in mind what you want and what looks stylish on you. What is really in fashion nowadays is simple, but elegant and classy. I will describe what this style jilbab should look like. Think colours like silvery grey or pale lilac. These are colours which don't really stand out but would be perfect if you are going to a wedding or celebratory occasion. Now imagine on the border a darker colour embroidered motif with a few sparkles and sequins. How can you not pick up such a gorgeous style and just run away with it?

Some of the latest colours in this fashion are midnight blue, lilac, periwinkle and sandy brown. One of my favorites is a long, till your feet, light brown jilbab with long tight cut sleeves pulled together at the cuff with three gorgeous golden buttons each. If brown isn't really your colour there is the latest range in midnight blue. When I went jilbab shopping the number of styles I saw were tremendous but if you are thinking of styling things up a little then you should try to get your hands on a blue specimen. A perfect one would be a long midnight blue loose flowing jilbab with purple motifs down the front.

Jilbab can be easily worn over everyday clothing. The basic idea behind this is to keep the whole body covered when women are out in a public place. Times have changed, so have the tastes of women all over the world. That is why jilbabs are now being designed along contemporary and elegant lines so that they look stylish and achieve their purpose too. Jilbabs were originally manufactured in black but now they are sold in colors such as blue, lavender, mauve, plum, light grey, and chocolate. Laces and sequins are also used to give it a more modern look.

Muslim scarfs are available in various styles and designs. They are either sequined or patterned with geometric shapes or are intricately designed with floral patterns. Nevertheless they are very attractive and are also quite popular. The Muslim scarf is known as Hijab and it is a traditional wear for all women following the religion. Hijab in Arabic means a curtain or a veil. Traditionally women are compelled to wear a Muslim scarf or Hijab in public or in front of men who can marry them.
